With the latest movie almost making up for the quality of the first two films it looks like Star Wars has won back the hearts and minds of fans everywhere and Battlefront II aims to be the perfect celebration of that. Like the original it’s a sort of Star Wars version of PC hit Battlefield 1942, where two armies face off against each other, either off or online, jumping in and out of various vehicles as they find them.

Of course in Battlefield 1942 "various vehicles" meant jeeps and tanks, in Battlefront II it means X-wings, TIE Fighters, AT-ATs and, for the first time, Episode III vehicles like the BARC speeder, Jedi Starfighter II and V-wing.

The biggest change to the game, apart from the new vehicles, is space battles with several of the levels taking part aboard giant space cruisers which you can exit in starfighters, have a dogfight in deep space around and then pilot back to for a bit more on foot combat. Levels include the Blockade Runner from the beginning of A New Hope, the space battle above Coruscant and Utapau and Mustafa from Episode III.

Another long awaited addition is playable Jedi, although you can only be one for a short time so as to not unbalance the gameplay. Although the emphasis is on online play the single player mode has been beefed up with better artificial intelligence and a proper story linking all the missions. Rating: - evrything you will want in a starwars game!!
this game is everything you could want from a starwars game because:
1.you can fight as EVERYONE! the rebels, wookies, jedi, empire plus more.
2.good variety of personnel classes, snipers, demolitiors, grunts and more
3.plenty of offline play, loads of different single player things to do.
4.good online gaming
5.graphics are not bad either
6.you can do space battles, flying x-wings and all the classics!
7.any vehicle you see, you can drive/use it.

What an amazing game!
Compared to Battlfront 1 this has a lot better graphics and more Characters, as well as new content, Space battles in which your aim is to destroy the enemies fleet by any means possible, Playing as Jedi's and Sith's such as Darth Vader and Yoda! Final;ly playing in 16 locatrions.

The great thing about star wars battlefront2 it goes through each episode really. Including episodes 3's big show down of the clones and droids which is great fun to play.

Rating: - This game really hits the spot
Having had the first battlefront, I was excited when BF2 was released. The graphics are much better, the gameplay smoother and there are far more options - the gradual improvement in the skills of your own character throughout the life of the game is a subtle but worthy addition.

Star Wars is such a huge fantasy epic which grasps the minds of so many loving fans. When Battlefront 1 came out it was like a dream come true. Forget Star Wars galaxies, forget Jedi knight jedi academy, forget all previous star wars games (well don't forget them there still great its just a figure of speech and a good emphasis method) Battlefront 1 was a hit. I have read some of the reviews here and would have to agree.

The original Battlefront was made with passion and is a thrilling game. Battlefront 2 lacks passion and has just been rolled out without the fantastic gameplay or great graphics.

My advice would be to borrow a copy first and see if you like it then buy it if it hooks you.
