Fire red is a remake of the original game boy classic pokemon red with ruby and sapphires third generation game engine. I first got a Pokemon game, with a Gameboy Colour when i was around 8/9 as a christmas present from my uncle. I remember playing Pokemon Blue all day, Boxing Day and i was thrilled to bits.

Its basically red but in ruby form...
Its new upgrades allow you to trade with the next generation but still allows you to follow the simliar story line of the tv series ash ketchum.
Some new differences but nothing major. Basically its great but not brilliant...
